Trout spey in the PNW and AK can be epic. Just another method that works for soft hackles, swimming streamers and tumbling flesh flies. I really enjoy swinging for trout. Good luck!

Just a beautiful boat...
It's always a great time to learn to fly fish! Keep at it. There's so much to learn from the history, fly patterns, technique, meditation on the river & connection to healthy ecosystems. Nicely done! I'm still learning too.
