Very lucky not to be in this position. My wife was set to start at USAID right around now. We were looking for housing in DC after moving there from Tampa. If our timeline had been moved up a couple months we would've been absolutely screwed.

5/5: State and Federally funded programs need to start proactively fighting back and doing everything possible while they still can, because they're more than likely going to be axed anyway.

4/5: Look at USAID, for example. They weren't even given a chance to comply, they didn't even think they were under threat of dismantlement, and a month later they're gone.

3/5: Programs that are threatened like that need to start being proactive and standing up to this fascist governance, even if it means they are destroyed in the process. Because they'll more than likely be destroyed even if they comply.
