Same. Our house has become the place to go for those who either can’t or aren’t comfortable going home for the holidays.
Until this year I would visit family around but not on holidays. They’re southern Baptist and I didn’t want to have to smuggle in wine in my purse like a fucking teenager.

I instigated for the first time in 10 years on fb but no one fucked around and found out. Comes with being the lawyer in the family I guess. But I know they saw it because the fam has been radio silent. It’s a tough time to be Blue in the South this holiday season. 💙💙🥶
