I appreciate the kind words. I think I'm struggling because with my word cuts my prose is starting to struggle, and I wonder if this should be my debut or if I should shift projects to another so I can return to this and give it the words it needs to come alive

Today I cut over 1k words from a chapter. It hurts, but the story will be better for it.

You can always add more in draft 2. Just get the words out now to refine into something beautiful later
