I never said that the Switch 1 didn't had a limited hardware (that's exactly what I was talking about before when I mentioned its hybrid nature).
What I meant is that we can't call the console a "piece of junk" just because of how SV ran on it.

Yup but the hardware was the same since the beginning of the development.
Look at Mario Kart World, they knew that they couldn't do what they had in mind so instead of releasing a half baked game they expanded the previous one and waited for the new system.

Its an 8 years old hybrid system whose games needed to be able to run in an underclocked SoC when used in handheld mode since its launch day. Of course it can be emulated on a PC nowdays, even my smartphone can do it.
It was GF's lack of optimization just like they did in the 3DS era.

That's like installing square wheels on a car and complaining about the engine's lack of power.
The Switch 1 didn't suck, it was the way GF used its resources. There are plenty of games that did look better on the system.

For the latest gens I tend to remember their type before remembering how they actually look like.
