Exhibited at Plasa @ Olympia and Hyde Park was a stone throw away, so it was nice to run by this lovely venue for a few mornings last week.

A great soundtrack-filled week, firstly by attending a conversation with journalist Jon Burlingame, followed by an evening of Silence of the Lambs in concert (with a post-show Q+A with Howard Shore). The second was How to Train Your Dragon in concert, which was brilliantly performed by the CBSO.

This morning, I opened my latest .cpr file to continue making edits on my latest score. I instantly thought “wow, Cubase looks ace this morning!”
I had opened up Cubase 12 instead of 13, it’s just dawned on me how different both look aesthetically. I might go back to 12 for a bit!

Well I think I’m going to have fun learning this new plugin. Everything I write is now going to (hopefully) sound like it came from a prestigious hall in Hampstead.

Excited to be visiting BFI for a screening of Gladiator II next March (not to mention a masterclass and Q+A with maestro Harry Gregson-Williams), but now also attending Silence of the Lambs in concert on the same day with post-concert Q+A with Howard Shore!? Going to be a long but awesome day…
