Retired from PepsiCo. Former PR maven, writer, nonprofit ED, pastry chef, dump truck driver, and other roles chosen to satisfy my love for change. All about family, my Aussie, Buddy, long walks, cooking, baking, gardening, and the episcopal church.
Just read On the Hippie Trail in one sitting. Could not put it down. It reminded me of my backpack trip through Europe in 1976. I wish I’d kept such a journal. I now feel like I’ve been to Kathmandu! Not only is it a great read, but the book itself is beautiful. I love the paper it’s printed on.

Most like because it’s good for the insurance companies in the long run. Still, I’m happy to see this.

While I no longer care to partake of the marijuana. I do agree with Rick that ending the prohibition is in order. I also appreciate his speaking out on our current political quagmire. Very smart, forward thinking, insightful man.

For more than 20 years, I’ve worked with @normlorg.bsky.social to end the prohibition against marijuana across this great country, one state at a time.

Our hard work and smart advocacy are making a big difference, and we could use your help — especially now! Learn more at www.norml.org.

I’m not through four yet, but struggled to get through three. Too much Carmie’s nose/profile all up in the beauty shots of the food. I don’t know. Jury’s out. It’s just not getting where it seems to need to go. Is the constant brooding maybe boring?
