I wonder what role that Trump's insular cabinet plays in these egregious moves. It seems like it is the same 4 or 5 people making all the decisions. It's like a circle jerk of incompetence and poor judgement. People like to point to Rubio as a voice of reaaon. What happened??

Trump's vision matches those of Putin, Xi Jinping, and other dictators. A future where a country is free to flex it's might against smaller countries. Where a tenous peace is contigent upon the "cooperation" of smaller neighbors. Where corruption, extortion, and intimidation pass for foriegn policy.

So i keep asking myself this... why would the Venezuelan people, or their vice president, allow the US to come in and simply take their resources? Why would they even allow the planes carrying these oil company reps to land? Are we going to occupy their country militarily? I don't see this works..
