We have changed this over the last two years though. It now just requires a short email asking to be considered for pay progression, very easy process for staff now

Very difficult to get it right in education I think. Majority of the time when we are off everything is either super busy or super expensive. Wellbeing afternoons were a good addition at our school, reminded us of the quiter times during a day/week to complete activities

Agree with other comments, support clearly needed throughout and other interventions / outside agencies where possible but between 6 and 7 is the line for me.

They have always been around but 100% agree they are nonsense and at times cause lack of progress. Have spent years saying ignore them and aim as high as you but at times students (and some teachers) are content with "just hitting their target".
