I love that Alt-IRS posted this. I follow all the Alt- government accounts from depts that have been mortally wounded (the National Park Service is very witty, btw). They keep my spine straight and my heart high. Wish there were an Alt-Congress.

In fact Dem members are busting their asses, sleeping in their offices, adding this to their full-time jobs. There's no major-media coverage, no front pages or TV sound bites anyway: what they can do operates by law, it's slower and more methodical than the slash and burn of the kooks in charge.
