Well actually when my parents were working they had good pay, healthcare & jobs had pensions. Then pensions got pushed out for 401ks, healthcare was only for higher ups & you had to have a really expensive job to get it & pay stayed at $7 an hr. It all got eroded away in the last 2-3 decades.
