Hey, @axios.com — Stop buying into the propagandistic framing. These are not “reciprocal” tariffs; they are intended to be punitive, based on the mistaken belief that trade disparities are inherently bad for the U.S. instead of representing a set of trade-offs.

The unending permissive and cavalier attitude with which some members of the GOP treat any breach by the current administration is mind-blowing. Some of these people truly don’t give a fuck about our national interest or security.

Or, maybe it's the disqualifying lack of necessary experience, judgment, and character of the nominees...but sure, let's say "paperwork and politics" 🙄
