After spending most of our money travelling. We bought a field in SW France. We built this 100% on our own. Field to paradise, 10 years. But things change, Summer temps go up. We moved North last year. Working hard but not settled yet, it doesn't feel like home.

Last meal, last evening, before flight home. Sitting on solid silver chairs! Bit cool and hard on the bum. The Rhiad, Iviory noir. Hard to find, deep in the old city labyrinth... but a unique place to stay. Our room and balcony.

Oh yeah... we rescued them in France as puppies. They were born in the SPA here.. that's the state supported pounds. I fostered over 20 dogs before we move from the Dordogne to Pas de Calais.

Merlimont beach. Opal coast, France. About 20kms from me. I thought it was a sonic boom ( or a nuke on Paris?) Turns out the storms bought some unwanted, unexploded ordinance, from WW2 .

Having fostered dogs for years and ended up with 2 Foster fail huskies.. impossible to let go! I was not always a dog person. This was one of my cats Wanda, she had a superiority complex as well!

Excuse the typos. I also want to encourage people to Foster. It saves lives, it's not easy, there's a million excuses not to. But try it, just once and one animal will be safe again. And you will feel amazing .

Today we have been married 46 years. I married at 26 and never imagined this milestone back then and now, my cancer is gone and I know well make it 50 yrs. And we'll do it as the best team we have always been. We chose carefully and we chose well. Respect, friendship,loyalty & love.

This is the famous 5 star " le train blue" at Gare de Lyon, Paris. Booked 2 mths in advance. Rubbish table, over priced pretentious menu. Tourist trap, no dress code. Take it or leave it attitude ,so we left it. Ended up at super little local place, perfection.
