Girls' Last Tour by Tsukumizu is just as good as people claim. Quaint little episodes of two young travelers' journey through a deserted dystopian cityscape full of wonder and hardships, both big and small, about squeezing small joys & a will to live out of whatever shitty hand you're dealt.
Beautiful manga page showing the two protagonists, girls in military-style clothing and helmet, holding hands while balancing on a big horizontal pipe that's hanging at a great height surrounded by countless other pipes of all sizes going on different directions.

6000 by Koike Nokuto is kinda messy and all over the place but it doesn't drag and has some really nice very creepy visuals. Also it's deep sea horror, which means even if it's bad, it's still pretty damn good 🧟🌊🦑🕳️

Finished Deathco by Atsushi Kaneko, which was very pulpy, silly and gory. I was sufficiently entertained and liked it well enough but not nearly as much as his other works I read so far. There's not much intrigue and mystery to get into and not much plot to speak of.

Finished Soil by Atsushi Kaneko, which I liked even more than Wet Moon. Really intriguing and gripping with phenomenal(!!!) artwork - which alone makes it worth reading imo. (There are themes and some depictions of sexual assault throughout, so beware!)

Atsushi Kaneko's Wet Moon turned out to be excellent; very intriguing, very cool and distinct style and very obviously made by a big movielover. I'm surprised I haven't seen his works on rec lists before. Dope stuff!
