I genuinely think this is simply Mamdani staying focused to set the best example that he can that Socialism can work in your town too. These are extremist measures, they're good policy. Demonstrate that the philosophy works and has material benefits to everyone

Look, if the Fascists are going to take advantage of Trump's dementia, we need to take our advantages where we can get them /s

If asking nicely in this context had ever worked, we wouldn't be here right now.

Give your spouse a really nice shell like in Stardew Valley, but that's it.

There's another in Attack of the Giant Leeches I really enjoy

There was an index for one of the Dodgers players that implied that he played better when his pants were tighter.

Perhaps if we explained that dunking only works if they're holding a real ball and not imagining one, they would do a little more research.

You can't expect career performances from every starter. The team needs to show up offensively to back up an average outing if they expect to put up some wins

I've met many liberals who behave as if deliberately misunderstanding things exonerates them from caring about anything.

Once as tragedy, again as farce.

Agreeing with the Nazi Apologist position also makes you a Nazi Apologist. I'm not sure what else to say to you.

It's unclear what you're "right" about, but I hope that one day you fix what parts of yourself that are keeping you from empathy. I don't think anyone could accuse me of not trying hard enough to help you. You don't seem interested in understanding as much as you are in appearing smug. Good day.

Then your premise was wrong from the start. If you already knew that then why say anything in the first place.

You got the world you wanted 30 years ago. Is it better now? Is your life materially, tangibly better?
October 21, 2025 at 7:19 PM
I don't find it strange that you don't want to be harmed, I find it sad that you don't care if other people are harmed. My objective in this thread was to help you understand that Nazi expansion is bad in all cases, not just when it affects Europe and that it would come back to hurt you anyway.
October 21, 2025 at 7:16 PM
You both want to be involved in a war with modern capitalist Russia, and uninvolved in a war with socialist Russia even if it gives a pass to the Nazis. You either hold no sincere beliefs and only want to "win a debate" or you believe something you are unwilling to admit in public.

That's a great question, thanks for asking. There is a material difference between our present conditions and the conditions of 1932. Most importantly, the two central belligerents are nuclear equipped and their leaders are not exactly stable individuals.
October 21, 2025 at 6:09 PM
I totally understand that you do not want to be affected by unpleasant things. What I and some others are trying to help you to see is that ignoring something like this while it affects others does not spare you from it in the future. Its appeasement. It didn't work before and it won't work again.
October 21, 2025 at 5:35 PM
You're right! It would have been great if the Nazis had been stopped earlier. The issue is that "Go East, not West" does not satiate Nazi expansion and would likely do the opposite. History is not on your side in this case, and I sincerely ask you to think your positions through in the future.
October 21, 2025 at 5:25 PM
You've twice evaded my question and refuse to acknowledge the reality of what you propose. Rather than admit to a bad take online, you've dug into the position of "I really wish appeasement had worked. Maybe we could've appeased harder"
