When the right is largely about stagnation and the removal of base human rights because they can't accept people living their lives in a way that doesn't harm others aside from interfering with their closed world views, any kind of centerism just empowers them cause it's just apathy for downtrodden

Bloodborne is the game that made the Dark Souls series click for me and the genre as a whole fun cause it just worked so well
