I’m in England but I assume farming in both countries relies on migrant labour. Jobs like veg and fruit picking is not something the locals want to do. If they provide food for us, they deserve to settle and become nationals.

It is organised crime and it kills way more people than any mafia outfit. It is the worst aspect of capitalism and the purest form of greed.

Across the pond there is a valid argument IMO that men should not be making laws that concern women’s bodies. With AD, those that aren’t dying will me making laws on those that are. Unrealistic but it should be a referendum for terminally ill people.

It never makes sense that I as an employee in the NHS with zero influence has stricter rules on behaviour, conflict of interest and corruption than MPs and Cabinet members. BTW I’m in favour of these rules for all public sector staff, it should include politicians and officials
