The usual suspects are out there yelling "There are 23 million government workers! Fire most of them!" No awareness that most work for local governments, and most of *them* are schoolteachers. Federal employment hasn't grown since the 1950s

Some plant progress! Monstera adansonii from July to November.
A small Monstera adasonii plant in a 3” pot. It is healthy and the leaves have holes like Swiss cheese. A medium sized Monstera adansonii plant. The plant is in a 6” pot, and is growing up a climbing pole. The leaves are lush and show the Swiss cheese holes.
