In panel 2, Rem uses his sickle to slice at another Madradan's soldier's thighs, who yells "GYAAAH!" The soldier's blade misses Rem and hits a decoy illusion instead. In the final panel, Nix is standing over a dead soldier as the last unhurt soldier kneels on the ground and says "M-mercy! Mercy! Please, I am no match for you, masters of magic and blades!". The soldier whose thighs was slashed screams "MY LEGS!!!" as Rem smiles at him from the left. Nix asks the kneeling soldier "Was that an attempt at flattery?" and he replies "Yes!!"

Took the time to make a map of Madrada, a country from my comic Merchant Band. One might notice that the roads near the capital Abundance are mostly very straight. A lot of (enslaved) labor was used to shape the landscape.

Was looking through previous pages of my comic, Issue 21 page 11 remains one of my faves.

I don't hate romance in stories, I LOVE romance but I am way more interested in couple dynamics than the "will they or won't they" stuff. When my characters have a crush they go for it lol
