Nailed day 1 of the Dragon Gauntlet. Don’t ask me about how sweaty this thing got before the sunset though.

Haven’t posted much lately but I just wanted to say I just finished an ARC for Hazelthorn and am absolutely obsessed. This book is hands down a book everyone should read this fall. If you love creepy plant horror and LGBT you will devour this book.

I love it so much!

Was listening to Caught Up by @navessaallen.bsky.social while road tripping. Got to the Jacob’s Ladder part and was texting a friend about it. Very clearly a case of miscommunication.

Became a Disney princess today while riding in the passenger seat. We were stopped in traffic when a bird flew up and kind of hit the window then stayed there perched on the ledge by the mirror.

Thanks to my allergies I can relate to Chuck Tingles book on a deep personal level.

So I am absolutely stoked for this series. I love monster and demon romances and I absolutely looove everything @akcaggiano.bsky.social has written. I’m really excited for the older MC’s in Laura Winter’s book and the disability representation is so refreshing especially for the genre.

Went to the lantern festival. Could not get over the nipples on this guy.

Guess I will just go fuck right off then. This was the message I got when I tried to get in the fairyloot queue at 8:30 am. I have to come to terms with knowing I will never own the Once Upon a Broken Heart fairyloot editions.

Solid reading month. Really into sci-fi lately.

I received this as an ARC from NetGalley for a fair and honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. The writing was beautiful in a lot of spots. I loved how this book delves into how women are seen and portrayed in world ruled by men.

I received this as an ARC for a fair and honest review.

This book is like if Howls Moving Castle, Harry Potter, and Lemony Snickett had a love child. It was everything I wanted it to be and more. The world was the perfect amount of whimsical and weird.

I read a lot in February, but at least half of these were audiobooks. I did feel this month had more average books than in January which was kind of a disappointment. My favorite read has to go to Deep End by Ali Hazelwood though. I just loved that book so much.

I am in shock and so absolutely grateful to get this ARC.

I received an ARC of this from NetGalley for a fair and honest review.

This book was a lot. I loved it but listening to it with all the current political turmoil happening made it hit way too close to home. I can see this book becoming a classic with books like 1984 and Fahrenheit 451.

This was a delightful short cozy murder mystery. For an audiobook that is two hours long it manages to fit quite a bit of world building. I highly recommend checking it out when it comes out.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this final book in the series after having such mixed feelings towards the first three. I thought the series was wrapped up beautifully giving everyone the ending they deserved.

I received this as an ARC from NetGalley for a fair and honest review. This book was a delight. I loved the gender swapped tropes that occurred throughout the book. Felix was such an adorable sad man and Saskia was so fierce and knew exactly what she wanted.

No work today because of the holiday and it is too cold and snowy to go anywhere. So I am rotting on the basement couch devouring this. So far it is a good brain off enjoy the ride type of romantasy.

I’m so excited my special edition of Whispers of the Deep by Emma Hamm arrived today. I read this book last year and just loved how ridiculous it was. I do wish it had been a bit shorter but I just had so much fun reading it. It is also one of my favorite books to recommend to friends.

This book was a beautiful exploration on when is life deemed important and advanced enough to be worth it. Just because a society may have advanced a different way or lives more simply to what you know does it make them lesser?
