Preserving and sharing the history of Maynard, Massachusetts through stories and our extensive online collection.
For many decades Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) was a significant part of Maynard's history. Here is a 50-year old copy of "Digital This Week", a (not surprisingly) weekly newsletter that started in Maynard and branched out to many of the DEC facilities in the area.

A drone shot of Maynard from 100 years ago? No, this is a photograph taken from Summer Hill, which had far fewer trees on it than today. You would need a drone to reproduce this scene today.

100 years ago? Why stop there? Let's go for 110...

Happy New Year (Part Deux)

We thought we'd also include a (somewhat) more recent item, this time "only" going back 50 years: the MHS Class of '75.

Sadly we don't have a class picture or even a yearbook from then. (If anyone has a Screech Owl from 1975 they would like to donate please contact us)

Happy New Year! Our first post for 2025 and our first here on BlueSky.

Looking back a century we present the Maynard High School Class of 1925. We have less than half of the people identified, so if you recognize a family member let us know!
