Yup. I think Joe is trying his best to be fair and reward who puts in the best shift.

We saw Minott start for a couple games, then Walsh did. If Minott keeps up the performance he gave in the first half, I'm sure Joe would put him back in the starting lineup.

His effort dipped and it coincided with the period Jordan Walsh took his game to another level.

All these guys - Walsh, Minott, Baylor, Hugo - are all fighting for that one spot.

Yeah the development of guys like Hugo, Queta, and Walsh probably determines if we keep them or include them in a trade package for someone more polished.

But next season has to be a title contending season. That's what's keeping me through this season 😂

That makes sense, yeah. Free agency could also be an option to acquire a starting / 6th man caliber center.

Hugo and that survivor would need to significantly improve though if they are going to contribute at a title contender level.

And this is such a big problem. This is the worst roster we've had in the Brad Stevens as GM era.

I genuinely don't see how we suddenly flip the switch back on when Tatum comes back next season.

True, that really was what it was. I think he's playing with a chip on his shoulder because of that.
