It's kinda cool that Gary Larson is doing new cartoons because he picked up a digital tablet, taught himself how to use it, and it made him love drawing again.

A while ago I came across the picture on the left that I drew 14 years ago, and I decided to have another go and the result is the picture on the right. Always nice to see the improvement side by side.

After working in Photoshop for 29 years & coloring over 20,000 comics pages in PS, I switched to Clip Studio Paint on June 22nd, 2024. Since then, I've colored 685 pages in CSP (attached) & I'm happy to report it's a superior app.
Make the switch. Ditch Adobe.

A while back I played DnD again for the first time in 10+ years, played this lady who is a wizard and librarian. And that of course gives me an excuse to design and draw her. A bit of a looser style than usual, but I enjoyed it.

Mother's Day here in Norway today, and I miss my mom.
If you have a good relationship with your parents, do remember to call them when you can. I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday last year with her and spend the last good week she had with her before she slipped away.

Today my mom would have turned 55, but she lost her fight with breast cancer almost 4 months ago. And while I miss her greatly, every day, the one thought that has helped me not fall apart completely, is that she is no longer in pain, the grief hurts, but seeing her in so much pain was horrible.

First post here, and it is right before Mother's Day as well. So I figured I'd post art I have made dedicated to my mom, she isn't perfect, but she has always tried to do the best with what she had, and I'm grateful she isn't making me feel guilty about not living closer as her health is declining
