My babies are coming home today after staying with my parents for w while during the move. They’re best friends and it shows. Happy #caturday

Last two posts reminded me of a poem I wrote. GOD so long ago. I think I was 18? Anyways going to share
(1) reads: Looking out the window pane swelling thoughts, despair and pain. She thought: she thought she learned that she might accept the soul that she thought she had sneakily swept below the sheets. She knew, she thought, that soul so well kept would lay comfortably while she slept. For fact!, she thought. She knew, she thought, that soul she kept would hardly budge where she wept. (2) However, that soul, that she, indeed, did sweep, instead, secretly, did creep. She found that soul, that she thought that she did so well to silently keep quiet underneath her bed, was actually screaming beneath her head.
