I spent around a decade in the knife industry and this is true. Marfione Customs are definitely more jewelry than a practical tool at their price point. Most of Microtech's factory work is nice, but waaaayyyy too expensive to be practical for the average person.

The book that this is from is called 100 Deadly Skills and I pretty unironically love it's pants on head craziness. This isn’t anywhere near it's peak tactical pants on head craziness. There's an album on imgur that has the full text, for those who are interested in a laugh.
