I’m in the same boat, my hair is thinning and I’m super self conscious about it. But everyone here makes me hopeful (on top of giving great advice). I feel you. 🫂

~6 months since egg crack at age 30+ but all of the transfemmes I’ve seen on here are so inspiring and give me so much confidence to move forward, despite how scary it is. It’s beautiful and I’m so appreciative. ❤️🏳️⚧️

Kevin Conroy for sure. BTAS came out the year after I was born and it was so impactful to me. And (by all accounts) he was such a lovely person.

Totally agree. And focusing on these societies that are “messier” makes characters like Nog, Rom, Garak, and Martok interesting. They work against the issues in their cultures and subvert expectations. And it makes the show feel more real and less preachy than TNG did at times.

I’m so sorry, I can empathize. 😓 My brain spends all day doing mental gymnastics trying to convince me I’m invalid and unworthy. 3 years of therapy, Zoloft, and egg cracking helped like 12%, so that’s something 🤷♀️

Me too! I actively avoided “girly” things so my secret wouldn’t be found out, but I thought about it constantly and I only reached the “why wait” period very recently. Scary but exciting. 🥰
