'Let the soft animal of your body love what it loves'.
Thank you. She is a bit put out from having to wear the cone overnight, but otherwise she's doing well.

That's brilliant, congratulations!
November 19, 2025 at 8:27 PM
Thanks! We're to take her back in a few days to check the wound and remove the staples. Hopefully that will be all straightforward.

I'm impressed that we managed to get to the vet, get her sorted, and back home in just over an hour. Our vets are so nice. But seriously Rosie, such a menace!
November 19, 2025 at 7:40 PM
Sounds he and you are both doing a great job!
November 19, 2025 at 12:14 PM
It will be nerve-wracking even though it's routine, I think it's inevitable to be anxious about these things. By this time tomorrow it will all be done and you can have Stella cuddles
November 18, 2025 at 7:28 PM
Ugh, hopefully not all at once at least?
November 17, 2025 at 4:56 PM
Oh no that's rubbish, sorry
November 17, 2025 at 4:47 PM
That sounds like a positive step forwards
November 17, 2025 at 4:41 PM
But the new fresh bedding feeling will be worth it!
November 16, 2025 at 7:37 PM
Probably best to get it checked, better safe than sorry
November 16, 2025 at 7:35 PM
That's scary, I hope he is well taken care of, and on the mend soon
November 16, 2025 at 7:34 PM
You've had such a busy few days, it's no surprise. I hope you can get some rest and feel a bit better soon
November 16, 2025 at 4:48 PM
I hope you have a safe and gentle journey home
November 16, 2025 at 10:57 AM
That sounds good, enjoy!
November 16, 2025 at 10:51 AM
I would definitely find it hard to get out of bed under those circumstances!
November 16, 2025 at 9:56 AM
Definitely have a day of rest, it sounds like you really need it
November 16, 2025 at 9:55 AM
This is why I try to schedule all my appointments for early in the morning. Being stuck in waiting mode sucks!
November 15, 2025 at 12:09 PM
Then on the way home I dropped her and James off at the park so they could walk back, which she was thrilled about!
November 15, 2025 at 10:12 AM
But Rosie is healthy, she got her vaccine boosters and her flea and worm tablets. Most importantly we got some medication to try next time there are fireworks, which I really hope will help her.
November 15, 2025 at 10:10 AM
Aww poor Q! I hope he's not too distressed around other dogs after this. Hopefully he heals up quickly and can come out of the cone soon.
November 14, 2025 at 6:13 PM
I'm glad you had a nice time. Hope you can rest and take some painkillers now.
