If she does not at least get a happy ending, I have no idea how I can ever watch it again 😭😭

That is fair!! I have not even thought about Act III yet 😅 I just want Vi to be happy though

Ooh!! That makes sense…sorry to hear that!! Good luck? Is it difficult to do that each year (if it is a yearly thing)?

Are you no longer working where you had been??
April 17, 2024 at 2:16 PM
I believe so!! I think I remember reading it in the afterward of the book? Maybe?? But I feel like it was to be about the bar / the specific bartender we saw for like, one scene? Totally excited for it, however it turns out!!

Overall, I loved the books I read this month!! There are so many fantastic stories, and I would recommend all of them!!

"Midlife is the Cat's Meow" by Miranda MacLeod and T.B. Markinson. As with "A Curious Woman," the small town mystery aspect really got me!! I sincerely hope a sequel is in the works, as I long to return to this world!!

"Shaken to the Core" by Jae. Honestly, can never go wrong with Jae! This month I read / listened to a number of her books I had never touched before, and I am so glad I did!! This was my favorite of the bunch—disasters always reduce me to tears, and this book shall stick with me.

"Not in the Plan" by Dana Hawkins. One of few print books (well, I suppose it was on Kindle, but still) I read this month! It was so good, and I cannot wait to read the sequel!!

"The Dating Show" by Violet Morley. I just adore Violet Morley's books!! I feel they are so underrated in sapphic fiction / romance circles!! Truly wonderful.

"This is How You Lose the Time War" by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone. Need I say more than I loved this? Everyone should read it.

"Spear" by Nicola Griffith. Arthurian retellings get me, especially sapphic ones!! I was enthralled throughout, and the audiobook was absolutely incredible!

"A Curious Woman" by Jess Lea. I loved the small town cozy-ish mystery aspect!! It was just so much fun, and the stakes never felt earth-shattering. It was easy to relax and enjoy the blossoming romance while simultaneously unfolding the mystery!!

Loved reading this entire series!! This one was so good!! 💜💜 cannot wait for their next series!!

This is totally valid though!! So much of our society pushes hustling at all times—while working, during your down time, whenever. If anything, it seems such external pressure would be the cause for feeling as if you are wasting time, rather than actually wasting time…maybe?

For some reason, this is so funny!! Have absolutely no concept of Falin’s character (only on episode four so far, and have not read the manga), but this is so hilarious!!

Loved reading this, and cannot wait to hear Lori Prince narrating it!!

Fantastic then!! I cannot wait to continue it then!! 😄😄

My goodness!! Still not over this one!!! Only saw it momentarily earlier while at work!!
