Obviously they were never Trekkies to begin with. Woke was baked into the recipe from the beginning and anyone who says otherwise is ignorant and forgot about the kiss that broke television. Or even just the casting. IMO, Roddenberry is one of the patron saints of woke SciFi. 🖖🏼

It’s definitely a laugh so you don’t cry kinda funny. Much like how PC has become an insult, even though it’s just having empathy and compassion for others. And likewise. I don’t get it either; and honestly, I’m not sure I want to. I feel like woke and PC are exactly what Mr. Rogers raised us to be.
