Second, digital literacy is an issue that we also have to address explicitly. I've pulled together a resource here to try and help with some of this emilynordmann.github.io/digital_lite...

I want people to learn to embrace "dissent".

Civilized conversation with someone who holds an opposing view, in my opinion, is the need of the hour.

For a progressive society, we must learn to celebrate dissent, as history clearly shows that societies that suppressed dissent often ended in ruin.

I disagree with Mira's points in-general but I felt [after watching this interview] that she was talking about jobs which are mechanical & required no application of brain; these must be done away with. Like if somebody's sitting in a meeting just to record minutes - this may be delegated to AI.

I came across this wierd fact in a report by #DeutscheWelle today that "Before 1974, married women in US could not apply for credit card in their own name." Archaic laws like these& people who boast such discriminatory mindset really need to familiarise themselves with modern-principles of equality!

That's an interesting thought but we must also be careful about-just to mark our traces, we do not end up creating a lot of trash, affecting not just the future gen but present as well.

I believe "scientific thinking & values" can better serve as our legacy but yes, there's always scope for better.
