Overall, this report showed that with regenerative agriculture technologies and techniques being adopted in the UK, economic and ecological benefits were observed. Farmers were also found to be communicating across farms for the first time in years, working together instead of competing.

In the first years after switching, they found that initial reduced yield upon transitioning actually reversed over the long term. Regenerative agriculture also made farm systems more flexible, making farmers feel more secure.

Many farmers are hesitant to implement regenerative agriculture into their farms because they fear that it will reduce their yields. This report demonstrated that this is not the case. Many farmers had nothing but positive things to say about their switch to regenerative practices and technologies.

Even when only some regenerative practices are adopted by farmers, biodiversity and soil health were found to improve. Economic benefits were also observed alongside ecological benefits due to the reduction in inputs linked to regenerative agriculture practices.
