She/her. I’ve been married to a fantastic man for 34 years, and we share 6 kids, 3 bio, 3 bonus. All part of LGBT+ community. I’m addicted to video games, take violin lessons, and I love to take outdoor photos.
Unless noted, my images are unedited.
Monday was such a pretty day, and the Mountain was out. If you live near Seattle that means that Mount Rainier AKA Mount Tahoma is visible.

Late Crescent, near Port Angeles, WA 03/01/2025

This is what happens when you attempt to take a picture of boulders under the water of a very still lake.

The second image shows the full view of both the hills and the their reflections.

Upon a closer look, these are not ducks, but Canadian Geese.

For Christmas my kids ordered a 365 day calendar of old family photos, pictures that I’ve taken and forgotten, and special occasions.
From 8 years ago today. I found it and others I took then. I’d forgotten that the lake was half frozen, with ducks waddling on the ice. #PNW #Photography

Crystal Mountain is a ski resort east of Mount Rainier. When you take a cable car up, you come to an area with an unobstructed view of Rainier. We visited the area on a clear, gorgeous day on Jan 1, exactly 9 years ago, and had a chance to watch the first sunset of the year

This is the best angle to view trees. It’s even better during the winter. The only thing covering it, is moss surrounding the trunk, at eye level

The Green River in Kanaka-Palmer park in WA State, earlier this afternoon. I knew I’d be able to find a couple of interesting rocks. #PNW #photography

The Green River near Ravensdale. Same spot, on a sunny day in July of 2016, and today’s, rainy, Winter day.

After we moved to the PNW I started exploring the area, frequently in the mornings after dropping off my kids in school. According to the time stamp this 8:50am was one of those trips in early December. What got me is the length of the shadows.

After living in Florida for 20 years we moved to the Seattle area. We flew here, ahead of time to find a house. On our flight back, the pilot did a fly-by around Mt Rainier.
