-Zimbabwe has faced for many years, I was a bit surprised to read about this project. The government is hopeful that the new city will attract businesses and industry to Zimbabwe. We’ll see if it makes it out of the planning stage.

-plans; I haven’t read about any others that have done this. There are some who are opposed to not having access to a car in Bradfield City, which means that public transportation to and from Sydney will have to be very efficient.

-Colombo Port City will be designated as a ”special economic zone” in an effort to boost Sri Lanka’s economy. However, there is worry about who will control the new city, as Sri Lanka has had difficulty paying its debts to the Chinese companies it’s working with.

-However, Jordanians are wary of this new city, as they don’t want the government to make the same mistakes that neighboring Egypt has with its new capital. Given the cost and Jordan’s high debt, I have some doubts.

-to help modernize the country. Within South Sudan, there is disagreement about whether Ramciel will be good or bad. I guess we will have to wait and see if more information will be released by the government.

-Gelephu Mindfulness City will be governed differently, with its own regulations separate from the rest of the country. The article doesn’t give any indication of what the Bhutanese people think of this new project.

This new city sounds like others I’ve read about where the goal is to alleviate congestion and crowding in the current capital. Mongolia will need to rely on outside investors to make New Kharkhorum happen, which comes with its own pros and cons. I’m curious to know what the plans look like.
