Xenoblade and FMA have forever and irreparably infected my brain (in a good way) and I haven't recovered in the slightest
Loved just about everything here barring a few but even the bad stuff gave me some fun memories

Good story, characters, music, and the gameplay was satisfying and very unique but I felt like there were a few issues that hold this game down for me not a fan of how easily the partner could get stunlocked and dodging/blocking felt a bit clunky

Barring like maybe one scene in 3 they never tried at all to make Chaud any bit likable across all the battle network games and I thought after the fight in bn1 it would've started some sort of character arc but... no??? he stayed as unlikable as he started

4. Guilty pleasure game
Marvel Nemesis: Rise of The Imperfects, this game is a combination of unbalanced, janky, a chunk of the roster is bad EA OCs, needs a mod to be even the slightest bit playable, and even with all of that this game is so fun and has some really cool mechanics and is peak comedy

I stand my battle network 5 being the absolute peak of the series singleplayer wise with no bad dungeons and liberation missions are some of the most fun sections of the franchise. I legitimately cannot see how this one is considered mixed or divisive when it does so much right

1. earliest video game I can remember playing was Oddworld Abe's Oddysee it absolutely traumatized me as I was probably way too young to be playing it and it scared me with the strange creature design and bad ending (since I sucked) but its still a favorite of mine and I love the whole series now
