I grew my dinner! Everything but the garlic sauce and balsamic in the dressings. Yes, I ate flowers. I added smoked salmon after I took this photo because I remembered about protein.

This is not good for indie art supply stores. Or even medium sized ones. MacPherson was the largest distributor/supplier we had. They had a dozen+ exclusive brands that haven't figured out how to get their products into the US, mostly from Europe. Be nice to small businesses, we're doing our best.
Email from MacPherson's that reads: As a valued customer, we do our best to keep you informed of material developments regarding MacPherson's and it's business. To that end, as of May 123, 2025, Blick Art Materials has agreed to purchase all of MacPherson's inventory and certain intellectual property. Effective immediately, all outstanding orders with MacPherson's will be cancelled, and no further orders will be accepted. This decision was not made lightly, and we want to express our sincere appreciation for your support and partnership over the years. It has been our privilege to serve you, and we are truly grateful for the trust you've placed in us. Sincerely, The MacPherson's Team (Note, this comes after they failed to show up for the annual trade show a month ago, abandoning sales staff that had traveled from Europe and now had no idea how their products would be distributed in the US. There has been NO WORD from MacPherson's since a February update about a management change. Nothing regarding not being at the trade show. Nothing about the brands they represent. Nothing. Just this. )
