The guys most blatantly soft/mentally weak are the children essentially given top roster spots on this team and it shows. No internal competition has killed them.

The discrepancy between the Sabres xGF numbers and their finishing numbers is even more wild and weird when you watch the games and most guys turn into prime Zhitnik when they get a clean look

It can't be good that every time I see a chart or numbers regarding the sabres I come away from it thinking how the hell is this team in a playoff spot

One thing I will credit the Sabres special teams with that’s sometimes just dumb enough to work is when they cover the drop pass on the PK

I know having Ruff as the communicator doesn't help but man this is too comical for how often it has happened.
Alex Tuch is dealing with an injury. Lindy Ruff isn't sure if he'll be ready for Wednesday. Ruff said Tage Thompson isn't 100 percent for Wednesday. Jordan Greenway is week to week and won't go on this west coast trip with the Sabres.

The cleanest lane Quinn has probably had all year to get a clean unblocked shot off and he passes it up. He’s messed up bad.
