Don't you think this is one of those cases where perfection is the enemy of progress? We hope to have the senate, and maybe even the assembly back next year right? So why wouldn't we want to take the progress we can get right now, and pass a budget that we really want when Democrats have a majority?

The beauty of Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney is that they actually took brave action in congress to back up their words. This new class of "sensible Republicans" (Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski), don't seem to do that. I see more courage out of Paul and Massie right now.. and I hate to say that.
