This should really NOT be happening.
I need you to understand what this country feels like right now for those of us who look different. I'm sitting here, trying to plan for Saturday, make sure I don't even need to go to the corner shop for milk, like it's Christmas Day or lockdown. Why? Because I live near where Yaxley-Lennon will 1/

There's a leader like this who runs one of Europe's biggest countries. One who isn't perfect, but stands up for greater economic equality, societal pluralism and global justice. And who gets that it's essentially his government against the storm.
Liberalism and decency are not beaten. But we need to find leaders who are up for the fight and will go after the enemy, not cower in the shadows because they fear a bad newspaper headline. I have faith and I have confidence that we will walk through this storm.

I helped build a government AI system. DOGE fired me, rolled the AI out to the whole agency, and implied the AI can do my job and the jobs of the others they've fired.
