Holy shit, this is nightmare fuel.

Imagine a typical #D&D fantasy world but up until 20 years ago, there were NO Gods. Divine Magic was unknown. Now, there's dozens of them running around, claiming or creating higher planes and angelic beings. Clerics and paladins are new on the scene. What would that world look like? #TTRPG

So from now on, this is my new philosophy. Playing an RPG is creating art.

But this is what has been flowing through my head lately. We talk about games being collaborative storytelling. That's art. Creating a backstory. That's art. Giving your character a personality. That's art. Even rolling dice to determine where the story goes is art. #ttrpg

I would like to present an alternative thought. Playing an RPG *IS* art. I mean, I know we all agree that game books are art, and that games are art, but I mean the actual act of playing an RPG is creating art. It's not a revolutionary idea, but I've never heard it phrased this way personally #ttrpg

Every time I see a video like this, Yakaty Sax plays in my head.

The fight against Zytera itself was hard, and at the end, four of the six party members were knocked out or near death, before the final blow was struck. It was a harrowing battle, but in the end, the heroes won out, and the world was saved! #TTRPG #ForbiddenLands

After throwing the Crown of Stanengist, an ancient and powerful elvan artifact, into the Protonexus, a magical explosion happened, taking out a few members of the party, but also killing the priestess, who was controlling the skeletons. #ForbiddenLands #TTRPG

They faced of against the demon wizard and one of it's high priestesses and several skeletons covered in silver. #TTRPG #ForbiddenLands

Here, they face off against his minions, free some prisoners and eventually make their way to Zytera's Protonexus, which it hopes to turn into a full fledged portal to the world of Demons. #TTRPG #ForbiddenLands

Eventually, the ended up in the terrifying and mystic labs of the evil Zytera, a demonic abomination that is a combination of the evil wizard Zygofer, his daughter Therania, and a spider demon. #ForbiddenLands #TTRPG
