This blind box trend is wild. Peak commercialism. Introducing statistics and gambling to children. This has existed for ages, baseball cards etc. But now we're seeing it in more products and larger more expensive items. Heres an example from a Canadian Tire yesterday (but still cheaper than labubu):

I've been flying frequently with #WestJet for years & they've been noticeably deteriorating (service, policies, etc).

Here's a recent email of them trying to spin all their new fees as ways to earn "points". This will be my last year as a member with them.
