I like that PP is trying to break in to the North American market. I wish the interface was better, it’s very generic, lots of room for improvement and growth.

I’ve enjoyed reading all the comments about IG, MM, MS & PP. I tend to agree with most. I’ve become increasingly frustrated with IG, hence exploring BlueSky more. I’ve considered MS for their philosophy, HQ work, publication, info, etc. Curious, yet doubtful I’d even be excepted at MS.

🖤 Clever concept! Certainly evokes S. Dali, especially ‘Women Forming a Skull’.

It was quite a spectacular display from the south as the lightning peered through clouds and lit up the surrounding cloud formations!

Nice series! They remind of a 1920’s glamour, reminiscent of Hollywood style.

Moreover than being recognisable, the model should be given credit, unless they prefer to remain anonymous.

Many fond memories of my biking days as I too said goodbye to my babies! Though happy they went to a good home!

It depends on the photograph. However, in general I tend to prefer B&W. As an analogy, since I was recently chatting about film, Fuji Velvia for bold, vibrant colour & Ilford for B&W.

2. I am reminded of a U.S. mag Newsweek article ‘Art or Obscenity’ which highlighted such borderline turmoil in the years following Mapplethorpe’s untimely death. Madonna’s infamous ’Sex’ book was published two years later. It seemed to be a period of reckoning or recognition.

I find it a difficult question to easily respond to as I have wrestled with that question. It depends on various factors such as subject matter, theme, context and sometimes even composition, et cetera. In general, I lean towards B&W.
