It also has the rapid fire click button which sounds like a gimmick at first, but has come weirdly in handy in a bunch of niche applications

I use this cheap "Gaming Bloodbat" mouse that I think goes by a few different names / sold by a few different companies
Its weirdly ergonomic, but I also just really like the placement of the buttons. I can't go back to not having forward/backward buttons for my thumb too

It kind of gets into why I dislike chess -
People that are good at chess are playing a different game than people that aren't. They know what spaces are and aren't safe at a glance, their goal is to box someone in, meanwhile a newcomer is just trying to not step on the wrong space

Board-game like videogames are a bit different more often because they are an evolutionary step closer. Characters are represented better spatially, and sometimes a really complicated boardgame just benefits from the automation
