Well, that trailer had more good scenes than the org Supergirl film at least. Looks pretty good, like that there's a ton of comic accuracy, so that makes me hopeful. Darn it, I said the H-Word.

As I said, US citizen only listen to US citizen. They barely listen to Americans (specifically Canadians & Mexicans). They def don't care bout anyone else. Your voice is just background noise to them. They are in so deep, they can only dig themselves out by now.

This is not a matter of opinion, fascism is designed to be bad for everyone but a small elite and my country was invaded and ruled by a German fascist dictator, so I literally have second-hand experience for my grand parents what was going on.

Why would we drive to Dachau when Mauthausen is literally around the corner? So no, I have not been to that one specifically but concentration camps and gulags all around the world, including the Killing Fields where you can still visit the tree where they bashed in babies heads to save ammo.

Ich finde es traurig, daß gerade in Deutschland und Österreich nicht objektiv mit dem Morden in Gaza umgegangen wird sondern bequem ignoriert wird.
Gerade in unseren Staaten sollte der Grundsatz "X rechtfertig NICHT indiskriminiertes Morden einer Bevölkerungsgruppe" hochgehalten werden.

Actually, the Nazi regime worked only in a legal framework. Considering that the Trump regime is breaking laws and the constitution constantly, those Germans back then plagued by crippling poverty had way less of an legitimate reason to rise up.

Don't vote for a party that puts an certified idiot in charge. And the nice thing about this rule is, it actually works even on multiple levels for this current US administration.

Okay, my first impression of this comic was simply that someone is trying to up-sell a customer. It's like in a Burger joint, where I order a Hamburger and then they start with stuff like "Do you want a full meal" - "No, a burger" - "Do you want a coke?" - "No, a burger, ffs ...".

Okay, my first impression of this comic was simply that someone is trying to up-sell a customer. It's like in a Burger joint, where I order a Hamburger and then they start with stuff like "Do you want a full meal" - "No, a burger" - "Do you want a coke?" - "No, a burger, ffs ...".
It sucks though because a lot of European institutions hold a significant stake in US actors entangled in the AI bubble right now, for example the Norwegian Statens pensjonsfond has substantial investments. So even without European cash transfers, Europe will get hit hard by this bubble as well.

Yeah, no, it's a bubble. GenAI simply is not cost effective and it will never be, there are already papers out that prove that those marketing promises are complete nonsense. So it will crash, the only question is who will pick up the bill. Will Europe & China bail-out the US again? Not likely.

Meiner Meinung nach ist Wie völlig irrelevant wenn nicht alles unter Was erfüllt ist und Wer ist völlig irrelevant wenn Wie nicht erfüllt ist :-) Und ob jemand vor ewigkeiten mal irgendwas obsoletes gelernt hat, ist sowieso nur bei einer Erstanstellung ausschlaggebend um echtes training zu beginnen.

Jo, aber die Krux liegt darin, daß LLMs nicht rechnen oder denken, nur eine statische wahrscheinliche aussage im besten Fall machen welche ihr Trainingmaterial hergeben. Leicht schön gefärbt mit pre/post-processing.
Das ist wie wenn man mit einem Spielzeugauto von Steyr nach Wien fahren würde :-)

In other words: All those promises are mute, all those billions invested not only aim for users that don't exist (especially not when they get charged to become profitable), the scaling is actually worse than predicated. And all this pre/post processing will not hide it forever. Happy bubbling!

Well, what they do is 80s tech that was not considered viable because it was never going to be cost effective and scaling effects have shown diminishing results.
