So I'm reading the cursed profile and this shows up. Seems throwaway but, in the vernacular, I "couldn't help but wonder," if it's actually significant that this type of political reporter conceives of politicians this way, and I'm very much including her curious use of only one set of pronouns.

So this WashPo headline is irresponsible. I've been prescribed Lorazepam for 20 years, bc before I had severe, rolling panic attacks. It eases symptoms of panic disorder. It is generally prescribed in wildly low doses & is so far from addictive, in 20 years, I've never run even low, let alone out.

I'm sorry but what the fuck kind of challenge is this from a grownup?

"If you can't prove that he's *not* the tooth fairy, than you have to concede that he may *be* the tooth fairy!"

The lyrics “like a toy chihuahua barking at me from a tiny purse” came to mind unbidden. Temporarily powerful but pathetic

I know everything is beyond bleak but submitted for your judgement:

I personally don't think acknowledging the decisive victor of the primary of *his* party in *his* city is enough to cancel out leading a charter school advocacy org and bashing DSA for protesting the US funding Israel's military, but I'm just a simple voter.

I'm a short, plus size clumsy girl who since middle school has had inescapably large breasts and a complete inability to shut up, and who has lived in cities my entire life. Miller, Trump, etc: you are all fucking pussies and wouldn't last an hour in the asylum where they raised me.

Shocking. But, remind me again how toothpastes and tubes, genies and bottles work? I thought they couldn't be put back. Isn't the emergence of tech relying on language model automation and plagiarism a completely natural force, like the weather!

Misogyny in action from the guy who wants to save dems from ourselves. He declares that it's most important to empower *men* to solve a problem that he admits affects all genders equally, bc it's making men big sad. Women / NB people are...OK with it, I guess?

Also, see quote. To me this says food desert, because generally places that don't have food stores within a five block radius are considered food deserts. www.foxbusiness.com/politics/mam...

I mean my god does this lady with a national column really think that a few publicly funded public goods like food, transit, and childcare is going to…destroy the fabric of American retail? What?

This column made me laugh so hard. Do people think that if Mamdani success in setting up a few nonprofit city-owned grocery stores in food deserts, they’re going to be *mandatory*? And I grew up in post-Soviet Moscow so miss me with generational scoffing.
