but there's no reason someone can't run a service a la bridgy if they have, for instance, a sizable nitter instance and already deal with the traffic. would also potentially open up nostr and fedi too.

i wanted to do this but they make it *hard*. you need to be authenticated to fetch a user's posts in chrono order and this makes large scale scraping very difficult
