July 4th, 1988 - #Ozzy at the Top Hat, Dublin; my first ever gig as a young and impressionable kid and it blew my head off! It was so damn loud, I can still feel Randy Castillo’s bass drums in my chest (what a drummer, died way too young 😔)!

So sad to hear about Gene Hackman’s passing. He was a fantastic actor and, by all accounts, a lovely man. R.I.P. to him and his wife (and dog) 😔

Gladiator II: I had fairly low expectations. Decided to try think of it as a standalone film &, while quite ham fisted at times, was indeed entertained…6.5/10 on 1st watch. Would have preferred not to know Mescal’s character origins beforehand &
overall felt it lacked the emotional punch of the 1st.

Been listening to The Rewatchables ‘True Tomance’ episode; as always it makes me want to immediately watch the film so I went and paid $60 for the 4k steelbook…like I needed an excuse
