Tolkien himself arguing that to create is to participate in God’s creation and is therefore a beautiful thing.

Haven’t watched it but I remember Jon Bernthal, who played Punisher in the Netflix shows, was asked something like this and he said that if viewers came away thinking his character was cool or wanted to be like him, then he had failed to do his job.

Love this one. The way it both manages to get its message across AND tell a fun, pulpy Superman story. Easily one of the best in my book.

Admittedly, I spend way too much time wondering whether the Zelda series is set in its own standalone world or if it’s set in our world in the distant past (a la Middle-Earth).
