I think becoming a brand is more a consequence if you somehow create good content over quite some period of time. I would never expect such an outcome when you start to create a blog

I mean the engagement comes from the users so not much they can do about that. But the interesting conversations are missing if you do not follow the right people. That is the biggest bummer for me.

I mean you can question the priorities for sure. But I think without the momentum of a X-odus it is hard to convince a critical mass to make the move. But they could have positioned them better for such a case. Threads got strong in the meantime. For better or worse.

I tried Threads for quite some time to replicate my old Twitter Feed but the recommendations always were off. Here on Bluesky I felt like home immediately. I cannot talk about engagement as I was never really posting something.
