When an author you love is posting a fic in instalments, do I read it as it comes out? Do I wait and read the whole thing as a glorious feast?! Or, you know what, I have no patience, I'll read it as it comes out and then listen to the podfic to fill in all the tasty stuff I missed out on! 🧠

I read a fic and I want to scream from the rooftops about it - thank you @auntieiroh.bsky.social and @raitalarai.bsky.social for leading me to it via podfic. I usually steer clear of wips and I find a/b/o hit and miss, but this one is like a red-hot poker.

Just finished this podfic and omg, what a truly epic story and what a magnificent podfic! A perfect fic for me is when an author does their own world-building and at the same time leaves enough breadcrumba leading to canon for us to gorge ourselves on. This is one of them, a total stunner!

I don't know if anyone will read this but today I can't help thinking that whatever our views are, #mdzs is not a rulebook to follow. Wwx is a flawed hero. He saves the Wen group but before that he goes on a a bloody rampage killing thousands of other Wens.

How do I go about finding a beta for a #mdzs fic I translated into English? I love this fic and really want the translation to make sense before I upload it. Does anyone fancy beta-ing a broody and sarcastic JC and LXC fic? Not Xicheng, they just have a lot of grief to share (and some beef!)
