Lots of folks here livin on a prayer Dach will rediscover the same form he had for 20 games 2 years ago. His profile fits the bill: big guy, fast enough to play F1, win battles along the wall and then pass the puck. But can he stay healthy?

It’s a great point to bulk up the bottom six. Evans and Gally may unfortunately may not fit. I find the jury is still out on the top. You may not need bangers, but you need players strong enough to get inside the defensive box without being pushed around.

Lorsqu’on regarde leur rang de sélection au repêchage, y a-t-il un trio dans la LNH qui présente un pedigree aussi élevé que le trio Laine (2e)-Dach (3e)-Demidov (5e)? La possibilité qu’ils produisent à la hauteur de leur talent est l’enjeu qui m’intrigue le plus au sujet de la saison à venir.

Quelques erreurs dans ce texte. Luke Hughes est gaucher et Hamilton est encore signé pour plusieurs années. N’empêche, un changement d’air est probablement nécessaire pour Nemec mais les Devils n’auront pas la valeur d’un 2eme choix au total en retour.

Like Bergevin once said, teams just don’t trade their centers. Habs are shifting gears to that big UFA signing. Recent moves (Dobson/Bolduc) and rumors (Kyrou) are all about offering up the best possible linemates for a UFA center to consider Mtl a fit.

Do it Kent! A player like this can propel the team into contender status. The fit is perfect on all fronts position, age, size, culture. Habs D-corps would be top 5 in the NHL for the next decade.

Also, 16 points in 49 playoff games. He’s a guy that gets you in the playoffs, not through them.

I don’t know how they’ll do it, but Habs management need to be all in on trying to draft this guy. He is the ultimate piece needed for the rebuild. Like Bergevin once said, 6’2 offensively talented center, lefty, proven clutch winner, homegrown, just don’t grow on trees.

On nous prêche constamment que ce type de joueur n’atteint pas son potentiel avant 25 ans. Mailloux a 22 ans et il montre encore des signes de progression. Le jeu défensif, ça s’enseigne.
